The athletes will compete in 50m and 100m breaststroke, 50m and 100m backstroke, 50m and 100m and 400m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 200m medley and in two relays: 4 x 50m freestyle and 4 x 50m medley. Competitions start at 9 am. We kindly ask all competitors to be at the venue at 8.30 am at the latest for registration and warm-up.
 The swimming event will be hosted by SV05 Würzburg , the leading local swimming club. Thomas Lurz, six times world champion in long distance swimming, and Annika Lurz , 2007 vice world champion in 200m freestyle and 4x200m freestyle, are the top athletes of the club. The competition will be directed by Stefan Lurz, the club's chief trainer.
Training:
You can train at Wolfgang-Adami-Bad on Monday, Sep 1, between 3 pm and 6 pm. Please show your accreditation card for free entry.
Other:
wearing swimming clothes is strongly recommended...;o)
How to get there:
The venue for the event is the Wolfgang-Adami-Bad, Oberer Bogenweg 1, 97074 Würzburg.
Please use bus lines 10 (departing from "Sanderstraße" direction "Hubland") or 6 (departing from "Juliuspromenade/Barbarossaplatz" direction "Gartenstadt Keesburg"). Volunteers will assist you upon request.
If you are using bus line 10 please exit at "Miravilla" and just follow "Oberer Bogenweg" to the swimming hall.
If you are using bus line 6 please exit at "Sanderrothstraße" and follow "Sanderheinrichsleitenweg" to the swimming hall.
You need about 25 minutes from the city center.
